About the conference

This one day conference will ask how innovation, research and collaboration can impact and respond to the future of work and hospice care, and the direction of quality and improvement and staff wellbeing. 

Speakers from across the sector and beyond will look at why this is particularly important in the context of wider sector factors such as the forthcoming Employment Rights Bill and the 10-year Health Plan for NHS England.

The programme sessions will take lived experience as their starting point, exploring themes including: 

  • Collaboration and integration
  • Staff well-being 
  • Regulation and quality Improvement
  • Research and innovation
     

Aims of the conference

The aims of the conference are to bring professionals from across the sector together to:

  • Hear from experts
  • Explore and discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead
  • Create connections and share knowledge and innovation
  • Provide practical tools and resources
  • View the exhibition and talk to our exhibitors from the wider commercial industry

This conference is for Clinical and Workforce Leaders, those who work in practice development and those with an interest in the hospice workforce and patient care.

How to get there

Conference Aston is just a ten minute walk from New Street, Snow Hill and Moor Street train stations, with a number of routes to the majority of UK destinations. The stations are all within a 10-15 minute walk, or a five minute taxi ride. Taxi ranks are available outside each station.

Accommodation

Conference Aston Hotel have provided conference delegates with a special rate for accommodation on site.

They have put a number of rooms on hold at the hotel specifically for our conference until 3rd March 2025
