The National HR Leaders Group supports and connects Human Resources (HR) and workforce colleagues in hospices.
amplify the strategic voice of HR within the field of hospice and palliative care
advance the role of HR within hospice and palliative care
provide a workforce perspective on service, planning and delivery
engage in constructive lobbying as necessary
provide a reference point for hospice and palliative care colleagues on strategic HR issues, workforce planning and development
support the development of HR and other leaders in the hospice and palliative care sector.
How the group works
Text
The network is made up of regional leads, who are responsible for sharing information with the hospices in their area.
The group holds quarterly catch-up calls organised by the Chair.
Between meetings they connect, share resources and collaborate via a MS Teams network hosted by Hospice UK.
The Chair also meets quarterly with the Chair of the National Clinical Leaders Group and Hospice UK, to feed key priorities into Hospice UK's wider strategic planning.
