11:00 - 11:50am: Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill 📽️

Text

Speaker: Liam McArthur MSP

Chair: Pennie Taylor, freelance journalist and broadcaster

This will be the first of a number of sessions on assisted dying at this year's conference. We hope this reflects the importance of the topic and the speed with which the hospice sector needs to be able to consider, feed into and prepare for any potential change in the law. Hospice UK neither supports or opposes such a change.

At this session, delegates will be able to hear from Liam directly about his proposed Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) and the practical implications for a change in law. There will be an opportunity for our highly informed community of hospice professionals to raise issues and pose questions. More details about how you can do this will be shared in due course.
